On August 31st in Shanghai, the FICFF Fashion in a Conscious Future Foundation will host the Stitching Dreams Aesthetic Education Donation Ceremony & Luncheon.
Through our Stitching Dreams program, FICFF combines fashion and education to bring sustainable clothing and creative opportunities to children in the mountain regions of Sichuan.
Earlier this year, with the support of our partner company UNIPX, Academy Award–winning actor Adrien Brody embarked on a ten-day cultural journey in China. As part of this trip, he joined the children in a special art class where they co-created seven unique T-shirt artworks — each blending his artistry with the children’s imagination.
These collaborative pieces, alongside works donated by other artists and designers, will be auctioned during the luncheon.
All proceeds will directly support the children and their school, continuing our mission to transform creativity into opportunity, and dreams into reality.

A highlight of the event was an intimate art exhibition, with the centerpiece being a series of T-shirts co-created by Academy Award-winning actor and artist Adrien Brody and children from Sichuan. Invited by FICFF in April 2025, Brody stepped into the role of art teacher, sitting side by side with the students as they painted together. The collaboration produced seven one-of-a-kind T-shirts—each piece carrying the children’s imagination, guided by Brody’s encouragement. More than simple garments, the works stood as symbols of creativity and compassion, reflecting both hope for the children’s future and the unifying power of art across cultures.
As the artistic partner, YUART curated a vibrant collection that brought together works from both established and emerging voices, featuring artists such as Jiang Miao, Ren Xuanxi, Carine Yichen Jiang, and Wu Xuanyi.
Carine Yichen Jiang presented her original digital piece Two Lonely Planets, a work that expressed the importance of connection, cooperation, and mutual reliance among children. Reflecting on its meaning, Carine shared: “I hope more children can have the chance, as I did, to experience and create a beautiful world.”
Danqing Jiang, Founder of YUART, emphasized the organization’s philosophy: “We believe the true essence of art lies in sharing and giving back. YUART pioneered the idea of integrating ‘big and small artists,’ breaking down barriers to foster an open, inclusive, and collaborative ecosystem. This time, we are proud to bring together both established and young artists, making art a genuine force for charity.”
Adding a perspective from the field, Principal Chen of FICFF’s partner school in Sichuan spoke about the children’s lives and the impact of art education: “Education should not be confined to classrooms or textbooks. It is about stepping outside to see the sunrise and sunset, watching flowers bloom, following birds in flight, and tracing streams to where they flow. Art education enriches the children’s lives and helps them see beyond the mountains.”
Sarah Farouk Elbatanouny, FICFF’s Director of Partnership & Experience, highlighted the foundation’s work in Egypt, where it partners with NGOs Yalla Kafala and Alwan wa Awtar to advance art education, women’s empowerment, and sustainability initiatives.

Murad, the U.S. scientific anti-aging brand, supporting philanthropy
Connie Wang, a founding member of FICFF and General Manager of Chantex, introduced the company’s sustainable production initiatives—most notably transforming children’s drawings into custom fabrics for winter coats, a creative effort that weaves warmth and care into every stitch.
Murad was founded in 1989 by American dermatologist Dr. Howard Murad and has since become the No. 1 scientific anti-aging brand in the U.S. Guided by the holistic philosophy of “Beauty Inside & Out, Youthfulness Everywhere,” Dr. Murad introduced the groundbreaking concept of edible supplements, known as “Early C, Late A,” revolutionizing skincare through a comprehensive wellness approach.
Beyond innovation, Murad has long been committed to social responsibility and philanthropy. Each year, Dr. Murad auctions his own artwork, with proceeds supporting over 50,000 young people worldwide facing skin conditions and emotional health challenges.
One of the brand’s notable initiatives included charity T-shirts co-created by Adrien Brody and children from Sichuan, a symbolic example of connecting art with philanthropy—a project in which Murad actively participated. At this luncheon, Murad’s donations were dedicated to supporting FICFF’s partner schools in Sichuan, enhancing learning environments and creating opportunities for children to explore and engage with art.
During the donation ceremony, Mr. Yitong Qin and Principal Chen presented an honorary certificate to Audrey on behalf of Murad, recognizing their generous support.
