Álvaro Ramos
Catholic Priest & Missionary, Founder of ACOES (Asociación Colaboración y Esfuerzo)
Father Álvaro Ramos is the priest of Santa Teresa de Calcutta Parish in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where he leads a mission serving over 12,000 students in the country’s most marginalized communities. The mission, awarded the King of Spain Human Rights Award in 2019, empowers older students to self-manage and lead initiatives for their peers. Originally from Spain, Father Álvaro holds a JD from ICADE and an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill, and previously worked for 15 years in law, banking, and private equity before dedicating his life to social and spiritual service.
